Entry requirements

• Recognised university entrance qualification (Abitur or equivalent); special routes apply for foreign qualifications and professionally qualified applicants
• No NC; apply and enrol through the university application and status portal
• International applicants normally obtain a uni-assist VPD and then apply through the Bielefeld portal; exceptions depend on citizenship and qualification
• German-language admission proof is required under the university rules; accepted examples include DSH-2/3 or the specified TestDaF standard

Deadline pattern

International first-semester winter 2026/27: 15 November 2026 for programmes without NC; enrolment and applicant-group deadlines must be observed
